Riding High
This mellow dog and his new owner made my day. On my way into a restaurant last week, a woman pulled up in a convertible with the top down. One of the three dogs in her car was riding on the very back, on top of the folded-down canvas car topper, cool as a cucumber. As we admired him, the dog's owner told us how she'd rescued the dog from a Mexican dumpster. Not sure if she meant from a dumpster in Mexico, or a dumpster behind a Mexican restaurant, but either way, I'm sure this lucky doggy is enjoying his new life. My camera was freaking out that day and this was the only photo that made it through; I'm sad I can't show him to you before he got camera shy!
Potbelly Beach at Sunset
Watched the sunset from the beach near my old house in Aptos. Am loving how my trusty ole camera turned the lights from Capitola
Village into pentagonal bokeh. It was fully dark by 7:10 this night, and while I love Fall, I am still sad to say goodbye to long days.
