In addition to saving for a major camera upgrade, I'm actively, if tentatively, beginning to practice portrait photos. So far Oreo has been my most successful subject, even though she doesn't seem to like me pointing the camera in her direction, not even for treats. I am keeping my fingers crossed that whenever Eric and I can add a pup to our family, it'll be one who likes attention and prancing!
