I was so excited to learn that The Knife has made a new album, Shaking the Habitual. The Swedish siblings haven't released anything together since 2006's Silent Shout, and it's been even longer since my favorite album, 2003's Deep Cuts.
From my initial listen, Shaking the Habitual
sounds like the electronica duo spent some time making darker,
more ambient tracks. Perhaps while in a dank cave, smoky with incense, whose walls shimmer
with jewels.
